Locusts are suitable for reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, birds, and some small mammals.
Each tub contains approximately 12 adult locusts (Shistocerca gregaria), this is a great food for your pet.
They are 50-60 mm and are packed in ventilated tubs with a bran substrate.
Storage requirements:
When you recieve your locusts if possible empty in to a larger container with smooth sides (stops Locusts escaping.
Store in a cool / dry area. (70-75F or 21-24C) Gut loading the locusts will keep them alive longer and give them the nutriants to pass on to your animal. We sell gut loading ready mix products as well as calcium.
