Delivery Information

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – All glass items and products containing glass are not covered by the couriers insurance. These items are sent at your own risk and we accept no liability for damages.

Shipping / Despatch Days

 

Change to dispatch days.

We will now be operating two dispatch days a week, Monday and Thursday, on all dry goods and live food.

All orders placed after 12 pm on Monday and before 3 pm on Wednesday will be dispatched on Thursday.

All orders placed after 3 pm on Wednesday and before 12 pm on Monday will be dispatched on Monday.

Except Bank Holiday Mondays when your order will be despatched Tuesday.

Frozen orders will still be dispatched throughout the week, Monday to Thursday. 

Royal Mail

Consignments up to 1kg. Estimated delivery times are 1-3 days.

Livefood Delivery

Consignments will be sent using Royal Mail 1st class, delivery times are 1-3 working days. We therefore advise that you order early in the week e.g Livefood ordered on Thursday could arrive as late as the following Tuesday (Wednesday if bank holiday)

Courier Next Day

Selecting this option means that your order will be despatched using a courier service that guarantees delivery before close of business the next day within Zone 1 and 2-3 days within Zones 2,3,4 and 5 subject to the above conditions.

You must ensure that someone is at the delivery address to sign for the goods

We are unable to leave goods if there is no one available to sign for it, the courier will attempt a second delivery the following working day. If this attempt fails, the goods will be returned to the depot and held for 7 days. A card will be left at the delivery address with the details in order for you to arrange re delivery or collection.

After 7 days, if no contact has been made, the goods will be returned to our warehouse and a £12.00 surcharge will be added.

Courier Before 12 (UK Mainland)

Selecting this option means that your order will be despatched using a courier service that guarantees delivery before 12 the next day subject to the above conditions.

You must ensure that someone is at the delivery address to sign for the goods

We are unable to leave goods if there isn't anyone available to sign for it, the courier will attempt a second delivery the following working day. If this attempt fails, the goods will be returned to the depot and held for 7 days. A card will be left at the delivery address with the details in order for you to arrange a delivery.

After 7 days, if no contact has been made, the goods will be returned to our warehouse and a £12.00 surcharge will be added.

Frozen Food Delivery (UK Mainland)

This option will be selected automatically if your order consists of frozen food, your entire order will be despatched on a Next Day before 12 and the Conditions above apply.

Special Delivery (All zones)

Some items require this option due to it's value. Where normally an item below 1kg would be sent using 1st Class Royal Mail, if it's of a high value, this option will be automatically selected. This option will cover all products on the order. This option also applies to anything that would normally be sent by Royal Mail but is more than 24 inches in length, this also includes packaging.

Signing For Your Order

If your order has to be signed for, please follow these instructions.

1. Ensure you have received the same amount of packages as stated on the signature sheet.

2. Ensure the package(s) are not damaged

3. Where possible, inspect the products and ensure they are correct.

In the event of loss or damage, please do not sign for it and refuse to accept it, then contact us immediately.

Once you have signed for your order. you are accepting that everything is present and correct.
